Are you interested in the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars Program? Good news: The deadline to apply has been extended.
You now can apply until Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. DCCCD has slots for 46 participants and 10 alternates, who will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis once basic requirements are met.
If you have any interest in science, technology, engineering and math, you owe it to yourself to check out the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars Program. If you’re selected, you’ll take part in an on-site experience at NASA Johnson Space Center, where you’ll help with a team project directed by NASA engineers, attend astronaut briefings and take a tour of NASA facilities. The three-day visit will take place April 17-19.
Many students who participate in the program have a strong background in computers and/or science and engineering, but other students are welcome to apply, too. Part-time and full-time credit students can apply. View the NASA CAS application.
