Apply Now for NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars Program

Image of planets and starsWould you like to learn more about career opportunities that involve science, technology, engineering and math? Then consider applying for the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars Program!

The deadline to apply is Jan 28, 2013, at 5 p.m. DCCCD has slots for just 46 participants and 10 alternates, who will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis once basic requirements are met. So don’t delay — apply now!

If you’re selected, you’ll participate in an on-site experience at NASA Johnson Space Center, where you’ll take part in a team project directed by NASA engineers, attend astronaut briefings and take a tour of NASA facilities. The three-day visit will take place April 17-19.

Many students who participate in the program have a strong background in computers and/or science and engineering, but other students are welcome to apply, too. Part-time and full-time credit students can apply. View the NASA CAS application.
